About

SCALABRINI COMMUNITY
CENTER, Everett

The purpose of the center is to be an Oasis of reception and hospitality to alleviate the daily suffering of migrants in its integration and adaptation process into American society.

There are many challenges since difficulties appear every day, however, within capabilities and resources, the center never measures efforts to assist and guide the human-social-spiritual needs of the immigrant population. The Scalabrini center cannot solve all the problems of immigrants, but its primary goal is to direct these issues to the right source of help, creating a sturdy bridge between immigrants and institutions.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was stranger and you made me welcome” (Matthew 25: 35-40)

The Scalabrini Community Center is headed by Sister Elisete Signor Scalabrini Missionary for Migrants and Refugees, supported by volunteers who believe in community service. All services are free of charge for all the immigrant community.
